Your New Site

Before site is ready, put in a ticket with Network Services to create a CNAME and put in a ticket with Security to add SSO.

Adding new County Site to SSO 

  1. Verify that the Federated login is showing on the /user/login page. 
     
  2. Access the production Acquia site factory dashboard at https://www.mecklenburgacsf.acsitefactory.com/sites-by-group/grid
     
  3. Locate the site you want to add and find the sitename and site ID.
     

  4. Request that IT adds a group to Azure/AD using the following naming convention. “acquia_meck_site_SITEID” using the site ID from the step above. 
     

  5. Send IT a link to site identifier:  
    SUBDOMAIN.mecknc.gov/simplesaml/module.php/saml/sp/metadata.php/default-sp

    and also the corresponding Reply URL:  
    SUBDOMAIN-19.mecknc.gov/simplesaml/module.php/saml/sp/saml2-acs.php/default-sp

  6. Have IT Security assign users to the newly created group. 

  7. Configure module in site's config > people > simpleSAML auth settings. use the following schema:
    http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2005/05/identity/claims/name
